BUS TRIP TO MOMA will take place on Sunday April 3 If you and/or your students are interested in joining us, they will need to go to Cindy Pisapia, Honors Program, Library 216, to register.She is there only MTW. There is no need to pay for this trip. Everyone can bring a friend, but they will need to register with Cindy. Bus leaves from LOT 7 @ 6:30 am. We will be there (at MOMA) for 4 hours. We’ll come back to campus between 8:30-9:30 pm (depends on the traffic).

Field Trip to the MFA – December 5, 2012
Professors Tony Miraglia, Memory Holloway and Art History Club is putting together a bus trip to the MFA on Wednesday, December 5th. The bus will be leaving from Lot 7 (outside CVPA) at 4:00 PM, and we will leave the museum at around 8:00 PM, with an arrival back to campus at around 9:30-10:00.

2012 – Museum of Modern Art – MOMA, New York
Through regular Field trips, the Art History Department provides an opportunity to study art first hand in museums and major centers of art and art history in the vicinity of the UMass Dartmouth campus. Field trips to The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) and Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) are regularly scheduled by the art history faculty. Additionally, the Art history Club frequently organizes trips to other local historical sites, museums, and galleries.
